Brunson Net on 98 in Foley makes them for serious netters, lots of places have the basic "store-bought" type. Last time I was in Brunson they had a sign up that they no longer repair cast nets, but they have the supplies for doing so (or for making your own). If you are looking for something particular you should give them a look-see.
RTR anyway.

I was also going to recommend Brunson if you were looking for a larger bait net (9+ ft), or especially a mullet net (9+ ft, 1" mesh size). If you are just looking for a small bait net (5-7 ft 3/8" mesh), save some money and buy at Walmart. If you are looking for a large bait net (9+ ft 3/8" mesh), J&M, Sam's are also places to check.
Sorry to hear that. Yes he will be missed.
