Perdido Pass
One of my favorite spots to fish, other than the pier of course, is the pass. However last March most everything was fenced off due to erosion of the wall. I haven't seen any news on its repair and was wondering if anything was happening yet, or is it still just sitting there in disrepair? Thanks for any input.

My understanding is that it comes down to the lack of funds to make the repairs. A real long term solution to the true problem, which is the severe currents eroding the wall in the fenced areas, is going to be expensive.

Our fearless leaders are waiting on the bridge to be deemed structurally threatened before they start arguing about what to do about it.
