Net/"bait" boats...

What is the legal distance these boats can be so close to the shoreline? Not sure what the exact terminology is lol but every time I've gone about behind the school house/golf course on the Island they have been there. I've been trying to fish on DI and every time I've gone out there's at least two boats making laps. I know commercial have to make a living but it's irritating to deal with to say the least. :bang

I don't see any limit on how close except in the case of artificial reefs, piers, and creek mouths (300 ft).

They are fishing for mullet, Spanish macs & ladyfish.
