new guy

Hey guys, just wanted to say hey and I really enjoy this forum, it is very informational, I usually visit the pier 2 or 3 times a year. I love it. I have caught the kings, flounder, and spanish but what I really want is a nice bull red. Im only getting to come down for a week in august this year. What are my odds of catching one that time of year and what type rig do I need? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
