Saltwater Sportmans, Doug Houston Outdoors, and another guy I can see in my mind but can't remember his name (I did not care for him anyway ;-) LOL
Gary Finch hah!
Fox 10 Outdoors with Jason Smith (is current)
I was looking for anything shows with Wayne Pearson as the host, he use to frequently stay at rock fence in Lafayette al.
Outdoors with Archie Phillips
Of course!
His "Outdoors with Archie Phillips" has been aired (continuously) since the late 1950s, making it the longest running TV series ever!
Sadly, Archie passed away this past March at age 83.
But many of his series are still available on Utube

My favorite Archie Phillips episode is the one where he went alligator fishing down in Louisiana (some might remember the white boots). Archie's job was to hold the line on which the alligator was hooked while the gator man approached it from the other side and put a pistol bullet in the gator's head.
The gator man had insisted to Archie that the gator would not attack him, and would always pull against the line trying to get away, but you could tell Archie was not completely convinced. When the gator man started to sneak up from the other side Archie had a loose grip on the line and the gator almost got the gator man - who made his displeasure known.
Edit: at about 18:10, not exactly or as dramatic as I recall (funny how we do that with memories).
Shotgun man: "You were supposed to hold him!"
Archie: "I was holdin' him!"

I used to watch him every Sat afternoon in Birmingham.
We moved to Chicago when I was kid, mid 50s, and the only outdoor show was Gaddabout Gaddis, a barber who went fishing. Great stuff.
That Archie was a funny guy, some friends of mine bought a piece of property from him, Archie still showed up to fish it from time to time. The last time I saw him was early last year. I actually was catching more fish than they were that day and was able to share my bait with him. Thought they were gonna turn the floating pier they had added a trolling motor to was going to turn over. It was fun watching them go.
There was also "Hunting with Keith and Tony". Tony who recently passed away was ordained at the same time I was as a Deacon at our church
I remember watching Ken Tucker from Brewton and David Marsh, I really loved his show...
Back about 1970 I helped my cousin who owned Bozo's fish camp on Lay Lake catch an ice chest full of bass to take with him on a visit to Archie for his show. That was before catch and release and we kept nothing under 3 pounds and our biggest that day was seven and a half pounds. He and Archie had fun that day on the show demonstrating what was happening on Lay Lake. That was about three years after the dam extension was completed and the water raised 15 feet. It caused an explosion in bass fishing for about five years on Lay Lake.
Not sure... But I sure miss old TK and Mike
Yes sir I miss those shows also!!!
