need help planning my spring 17 fishing trip
I was wanting to stay for a week where I could get on the kings some Spanish and pompano maybe even a red or speck or bluefish while I'm at it. I know may is probably a good time but early May or late or late April. What do y'all think?

Definitely May. The later the better. Fish move as the water temp rises.

I've done better with Pompano in early April. Kings will bite in greater numbers in mid-late May. If you want kings, spanish, reds, specks and blues -- I'd go for the third or fourth week in May. You may catch an occasional pomp, too.
