Out of town question
Im sure this question has been asked a lot but I have a trip booked to orange beach at the end of August for family vacation! Plan on fishing the most of the time to keep distance from inlaws! I do want to do an offshore charter(if you recommend a boat, please let me know) but just wondering what would I have best luck doing as far as surf fishing? Setups? What I can expect to catch! I have a few surf rods from past visits but never had much luck. I'll be staying right by perdido pass if this helps! Any help would be greatly appreciated. As iv grew up on freshwater lake and not visited saltwater much! Thanks agai

Toledo---Welcome to the forum. Try asking your questions in the "search" feature at the top right of the page. Check the sticky on "what's biting when" You may find surf fishing a little slow that time of year since the water will be at its warmest. East of the pass has been good for pompano, but that's the wrong time of year.
Good luck.
