Love the patterns on those fish. Are they a type of sea robin?
They aren't related to sea robins, bodebum, other than they both are fish with fin rays.
I think they're fairly common on the sea wall at the pass. Not so much at the pier, I caught a small one on the pier.
It's like a tail with a big mouth!
Im always scared to touch any fish that ugly. Always worried there is some secret spine or venom. I've caught them on the seawall at the pass myself.
