Castnet regulation questions
Planning on being down in 2 weeks and would like to bring the castnet along for some bait.
I am having a hard time finding the answers to all my questions about staying legal.
As far as species of fish go I can keep anything that is not a game fish correct?
As far as catching shrimp do I have to have the $16 license if I am on the shore?
Any other things I should know about?
Thanks in advance!!!

Yes, you can keep any non-game fish species that are either unregulated or 'in season' within their specific creel & bag limits (this includes shrimp and crabs).
That $16 license is for a recreational shrimp trawl.
Your saltwater recreational license allows you to catch bait with a cast net (in legal areas).
