Where the fish are biting, of course.
I've sat off the jetties in my old 20' cc many times years ago this time of year and filled the cooler with sheepies.

I just think it is humorous when the land guys are casting as far out as they can, and the boat guys are casting as close to shore as they can -- at the same time. :horse:
