Perdido Pass Photos
Won't be home from vacation in the Northwoods for another week and a half. Dying to find out what the completed project at the pass is looking like and if the lighting is up yet. Anyone got any current information or photos on the project. Thanks.

There were some posted a while back, not sure which sub-forum they are under.
Safe travels!Carl

Thanks Carl. I saw some a month ago or so but they weren't done. Lot was going to be painted, lights were going to be installed etc. I was hoping that someone fishing there would throw up something new until I get home.

I was there before sunrise this morning and the park was dark. The concrete pedestals for the light poles are there, but no poles. The electrical conduit looks to be in place. This should be a good spot for Fall fishing. Where else can you park, get out, and walk 30ft, and start casting.

No pics but it was fairly crowded this afternoon. Tried some bull minnows but no takers.

I was there yesterday afternoon (Sunday) and Saturday afternoon, bull minnows and live shrimp. Only turned up a few pinfish and piggies for me. Group next to me caught a flounder and that was the only keeper I saw come over the wall.

I gonna guess the keeper mangroves that gathered up there while the seawall was closed have now been pretty well thinned out.
Did anyone try bubble rigs or gotchas for Spanish & Blues??Carl

I threw a gotcha for a brief minute on Saturday.. Also tried a looney and rapala with nothing. Granted, I didn't commit to any of them enough to feel I completely exhausted my chances...
