Any updates on pier construction? Opening date?

I am sure that a lot of folks are like me, waiting to make reservations until we know a re-opening date for the pier. I have been looking at the end of Sept. but may wait until the end of Oct. I only get to come down 2 or 3 times a year, si I sure want to make the most of the trips.

Anybody drive by the Pier Parking lot lately? If they have started cleaning it out may be some kind of idea if they are getting ready to open.

No one wants this more. . .than all of us.

I spoke with Lamar Monday. He said they were wanting a Labor Day open. I told him I was thinking about a mid Sept trip. He said it would definitely be open by then.

That is very good news !!!

May try to get down next summer, we have to put vacation time in for next year in November of this year, hard to change it around
