If you have little anglers that want to get in on the fishing action, they can participate in the Kid’s Pier Fishing tournament on Sunday at the Gulf Shores State Park pier. Kids ages 15 and under will have a chance to compete for prizes and meet their favorite coaches and players. Can you think of a better way to end the summer and bring on the new football season than a weekend of fishing and famous faces at the beach? We can’t!

2013 SEC BeachFest at Gulf Shores Main Public Beach - Gulf Shores , AL

Bring your kids to the pier in Gulf Shores State Park on Sunday, August 18 from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. for a chance to meet former Heisman Trophy winners and win one of many prizes! Children 15 years and under. Free Admission!

There will be FREE fishing rod & reel combos donated by several local tackle dealers for 200 kids!


There is supposed to be an assortment of SEC 'legends' on the pier to help the kids, and hopefully some of the pier regulars will be there to assist them all.
