    Pier nets for sale online

I was looking into net material and how to make a new net as mine is rather old and been patched many times, then i saw Academy has a pretty nice pier net for 19.99+s/h. It's 32ish in with a large metal ring and metal grid at the base. Feels really solid. Kinda heavy but should last me another decade.
Not sure how that price compares whats available locally, but everything close to what I currently have was 49-69$ online.

I appreciate that heads up. I ordered one. Was looking at our old one in July when I was down and realized I didn’t want to trust it with a fish any longer. It was fine then though because the pier was still closed.

I've had that same net from Academy for about 7 years. I bought mine on closeout for less than 9 bucks! Should have bought a few more. They were calling it a crab net. It is overbuilt, even for a drop net. Works great and I've landed some very large jacks and reds with it off the pier. Highly recommend it.

I got mine from Bass Pro Shops. It was about 40 bucks, I think. I got my plastic piece to wind the chord onto from Lowe's in the electric chord department. I'm set now! Ready to bring other folks' big fish over the rail!
