Saw on their website that they are now making a new version with the lead tapered at the hook bend and wide end toward hook eye, supposed to kick up more sand. If they work I may be in the market for some more, so Ironman you may have a new customer if you decide to pour some. Will post results Saturday night or Sunday.Quote:

Hope things heat up enough to use the gaff once or twice. Figured if we saw a BIG shark like that one in the pick up from Fla I could use it as a fishing hook, tie the rope off to the pier and really tick it off!!! or would that be considered shark fishing???
