Thread: Heads up!

I'm going to be stating at the Gulf Sate Park 6/18- 6/25. I'm from Slidell,La and I'm a fishing addict! So while I'm over there I've got to get my fix! I fish for reds and trout over here in La. and all I use are plastics, so... What types of fish can be caught in the surf and off of the pier? I need a heads up so I can figure out what kind of tackle I need to bring with me!
