Is it legal to fish with Spanish? Such as for Kings etc?
Yes I think but not 100% positive you can purchase them Or use ones that you catch
Making sure....I have always fished with them...but someone told me it was a violation to fish with them. Thanks for the clarification.
I May be wrong but I Know you can purchase them and I have seen a bunch of people use them so I don't see why you cant use for kings
I am sure somebody else that knows the rule for sure will Chime in
For sure each one you use (whether you caught it or not) counts toward your daily possession limit of 15.
In FL or in Federal Waters they MUST be at least 12" Fork Length to be legal.

I have see them vacuum packed in the freezer at some bait shops.....and NOT cheap either
9.99lb here in Bham to buy for the table. I thought it was legal we have always drifted them over and down current of the wrecks while we are snapper fishing. Have caught some huge kings before doing that
friends use them for trolling for marlin....I like to catch some when there and take them some, for future trips they make offshore....as long as they are 12+ inches to the fork
