Signs of things to come.
Made it back to Short Creek at Guntersville Lake about 8'ish this morning; creek was muddy, with a steady current. Found an eddy near deep water near the bank, and started working it with 1/16 oz. jig. Bass, bream, yellow stripe, drum, and skipjack, were hitting. Oh, and crappie. Landed 14 crappie, all over 11 in., and kept these five. The stick is half a yardstick, so it fits in my bucket. The tree pics are of a "Spirit Hawk", "albino Red Tailed Hawk", that moved to this habitat in Dec., 2009. Sorry for the photo quality, but it is a real cool bird.
