question about rail height
Anyone know the rail height in the draw? Or how long a piece of pvc would need to be cut to set a trolley pole in and not touch the rail? I want to set some newbies up to give them the best chance of catching a king and keep them out of everyone's way for the most part. Thanks in advance for any info

Even in the draw, won't an unattended rod sticking straight up above the rail run the risk of getting in someone's way?

By law ALL the railings are 42" above the deck except at the Handicap Stations.
There is a 4" gap from the bottom rail to the deck.
A rod straight up at the rail is actually less of an impediment to following a hooked fish than a rod leaning against the rail.
