Question about Surf Fishing at Mobile Street Beach
I had a question regarding mobile street. Someone on a previous thread mentioned that this is a good place to surf fish since it is a littltle less crowded. In looking at a map (online), I see Mobile street on the West side of Gulf Shores. We are staying in a condo on West Beach Blvd. In looking at the map, it looks as if West Beach BLVD dead ends and does not connect to Mobile street. Is that a true statement? If that is the case, how long does it take to get from the west end of West Beach BLVD back around the little lagoon to Mobile street. Not a fishing technical question but I figured you all could help me.
Thanks
Tim

Mobile St is off of Fort Morgan Rd. You will have to go back to 59 and the left/west on Fort Morgan Rd. I would guess at least 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Just guessing.

If you could look at Google maps, you will see Finchaser's directions are correct, and it isn't a bad place to surf fish. Actually, it is a wonderful place just to go to.

Be careful on that road after a heavy rain. Water stands in the road serveral inches deep in places and can turn a F150 supercrew into a boogie board and every coyote and fox on the penninsula like to take a dump right on the side of the road and play chicken with traffic.
