Question for those rod builders out there.
I'm looking to have a rod made, under $100, preferably around $70-$80. Going to pair a Van Staal VS150 and will be using braid. Would like the length to be 7' to 7'6' but no longer. And the action no heavier than a medium. I'll be using it for all around fishing and throwing a lot of lures (X-raps and yo-zuris mostly), I would like something light enough for bigger redfish/specks, and spanish, but something that could still handle schoolie kings. I enjoy fishing light tackle for big fish so a really thin but powerful blank similar to Star Stellar Lite rods would be awesome. Just would like some ideas on what blank would be right for this. Thanks !

So you want a cheap rod for a 650.00 reel. Man save your money and build that reel a rod that will hold up just as long as it will.

Gotcha! I went into the Rod room and talked to Kathy and like yall said , I think I'll have enough to get a custom worthy for it haha. She showed me the new Fuji(forgot the actual brand) point blank rod blanks . The 7'6" is SOO light for the power, so she's going to build me that one. Thanks yall.
