Thanks, Pier#r! You're the best!
I'd like to take this opportunity to recognize David "Pier#r" Thornton as the best outdoors writer/contributor ever to regularly write articles for a local fishing page. David's flawless delivery and comprehensive revelation of key information are just unmatched, anywhere. Completing the trifecta of abilities are David's knowledge of everything related to fishing the local Gulf waters and his skills of fishing for and catching a wide variety of desirable fish species. There are many great fishermen on this site who also have contributed before, notably "Slim", "Haywire" and "00706", so thanks to them for many years of contributions, as well. And thanks to everyone else who contributes timely reports, valuable information and other entries to this forum. Thank you all for being my friends!

I appreciate that Tom, and you should include eym_sirius in that list of timely report contributors.
Reporting (accurately) what's biting at the pier is the heartbeat of this forum.
And I would like to thank all the contributors and encourage everyone to chime in ;-)

Honestly, I am not sure Tom. But your speculation has merit as recent rains would have brought an influx of nutrients into eastern LL and a subsequent increase in macroscopic life feeding on that...
