What size mesh
I'd have to measure it when i get home, its the larger size i guess, baby lys tend to slip through
There was a pretty good post a couple of months ago about how to make one out of single strand wine and some crimp sleeves. IIRC you just keep making connected figure 8s out of a single long piece of wire (putting crimps to set the diameter) and then weave a piece of red ribbon in it as attractant.
He didn't say to do so, but you might put a half granny under each sleeve.
Looked pretty easy.
I googled: here's one on a blog (scroll down). It does not have crimps.

On the rail tackle has some really nice ones
they come in two different mesh sizes
Your right flatfish, someone else turned me onto them as well, already put an order in for one of each size
I'm asking because I'm having a hard time locating the it in the regs, those are ok in Alabama but not Florida?
I had thought that was the case, Thanks
I ordered my net materials from Memphis Net and Twine for 20 bucks got enough to last a hundred years. Just add red ribbon and weight or easy way just go to J & M and buy already made up.
