Thread: Salting & preserving bait

Has anyone tried it or had success with it?

There's a post by john g himself about preserving cigar minnows. I can't link to it with my phone but the search feature pulled it right up. I've put kosher salt on cigs, sardines, and thread fins that caught fish. Seems to toughen them...as john g said. If he said cast my net on the other side, I would.
