Sam is injured

Just saw on the state park facebook that sam was found by a lifeguard with a broken wing. He will be spending most of the spring in rehab at the nature center

I hate to hear that. :( Good luck Sam!!!
The pier house will be accepting donated fish for her.

I wonder if somebody kicked her because she was trying to get a meal?

I sure wish they would put signs up
Saying to NOT to feed the birds

hope she heals well, henry at fairhope pier broke her's in catrena, one of the regulars nursed her back to health, she's fine now but you can kinda tell when she flies.

I got the scoop from Harley this morning. Sam flew in front of some one that was casting and they connected. No foul play involved.....

:eat:Naw, they taste like Snowy Egret. Especially when you roast 'em like a Thanksgiving turkey. They're both kinda stringy, fried.
