Thread: Sandwiching spoons together?

Anyone ever sandwich spoons together together such as a "Little Cleo" to get greater casting distance out of them? Would this kill the action of the lure?

i don't know from experience, but i'd think the action of the lure would suffer. i wonder if golf lead tape might work better? just seems like any "adjustments" would make a spoon behave differently.

Everything else in the bass box seems to produce in the salt when the situation is right. I have considered putting some small spoons together for Spanish to get better casting distance.
