Shark fishermen should come early. Not huge numbers, but as many as five at a time visible off the Octi several look legal.
The one that ate my Spanish was for sure legal but I made him pay for it. I drug him around the Pier for what seemed like an hour and finally got him up where we could have gaffed him if it were only legal.
Not trying to beat a dead horse but why instead of having a shark “night” have one portion of the pier during one day of the week and let them shark boys get out there with a 50w and show them who is who lol.
Now don't go bringing logic and common sense into the discussion.
Plus, everyone knows that if they (the state, pier mgmt, state park dept) allow fishing for sharks during the daylight hours, there will be thousands of tourists that will be attacked and eaten by the sharks.
