Yep the pattern can change with a single wave of the jet stream. And I wish it would!
As long as the eastern Pacific is warm (ENSO / El Nino) a single wave is not likely to do it. If you look at the satellite imagery there is a pretty constant stream of warm moist air coming our way from there.Quote:

Eventually the ENSO will oscillate back to "normal", the El Nino will dissipate as the westerlies re-establish, but until then the moisture from the Eastern Pacific dominates.

I hope to convert the back 3ft of an overseas container for hanging deer (refrigerated ) for warm periods like we are having even up north......the big coolers work ok, but only have 2 of those
