I have never seen or used them but given the name I think the hex head jigs(with the angled nose) at J&M probably have a similar side to side action. Ironman cuts the nose off some of his spearhead jigs that are pretty close to those.

... notice the hook is offset to one side though (90 degrees), not vertical...

That would make it an ideal flounder hook for a jig&strip!
