small bubble rigs?
went to Cabela's here , and found 2 bags of small clear Bubble rigs, never really knew they had different sizes....but for the price in the bargain cave I had to get them....not sure if smaller will matter but hope to find out ....they seem to be heavier (thicker) plastic ??

For more weight in a smaller package, you could fill with lead shot or BBs or put two on the line. Smaller = less to see for a sharp-eyed Spanish.

I think the bubble is just for the splash affect of an injured fish....with a lighter rod, reel and line I still think these could be thrown a good distance
if I had a package headed that way, I would include a bag for a test run before I can get that way....and really never cared for throwing a bubble anyway....I do like using a jig or gotcha , but do love watching the top water action of the bubble when others are throwing them

I bought the medium ones at BPS the other day, I think they hold about as much water as I put in the large ones. One of these months I will get down to try them out.....

I tried the smaller ones once and didn't like them, but that's just me. I thought about filling them with lead, but it dawned on me that then I'd just be throwing a big egg sinker. Besides, the lead would probably melt the plastic when I poured it in, and that might ruin my manicure.

A few lead shot or BBs should make it rattle [another sometimes-good/sometimes-bad fishing trick]. Just don't fill it past the sinking point.
