You can curse me in advance for the upcoming stretch of chitty weather headed your way. Seems like every time I head down I bring rain and clouds.
Here's to hoping the weather man blows it for this weekend and next week.

With you bringing bad weather and me shutting down the bite as soon as I step on the pier, the poor fishermen don't have a chance next week.
Hoping for a decent Saturday as long as the water clears up a little.
Easter Sunday looks to be miserable...HE IS RISEN!!!...then he looked outside and abruptly went back and laid down.
Looks like it's going to negatively affect attendance at sunrise services. Inside looks more favorable---don't want to ruin my pretty Easter bonnet.
Do any of you fish in the rain? I've been waiting for this week all year.
Fishing in rain is one thing -- fishing on a pier 30 feet above water level in lighting storms (lightning can strike 5 miles from nearest cloud) while holding a highly conductive graphite rod another few feet above you is asking to be part of an electrical circuit that puts "Old Sparky" the chair to shame.
Actually the distance of a cloud to ground strike can be a LOT further than that; depending cloud height and stage of development of a particular cell. But your are most definitely right; the pier or open beach is no place to be to receive a "Bolt from the blue". In fact there was a fatality on the GS/OB beach a couple of years ago from this very thing.
Just use your head. A light winter time gentle rain is one thing. But with thunderstorms near by...forget it.
