How long do the spadefish stay around the pier .
They are actually around almost all year, but their metabolism slows down so much in winter they don't seem to feed often.
It seems like the easiest times to catch them are May and September and at times the months in between.
Thanks ! Hope some willing takers are around during Oct.
If I am remembering correctly, seems like around 3,000 of those were caught during March of this year. What do they mostly bite, live shrimp under a cork?

That was proably the Sheepies getting slaughtered.
I was there in March and they were sheepshead . I happy to see that a limit of 10 per was established . Are there limits on the spades ?
The state puts no limits on spadefish.
Good thing for these folks there ain’t a limit!
