Thread: Spent any time fishing Daytona Beach?

The in-laws invited us to stay with them at Daytona Beach in June. I've never fished there. Has anyone here ever had any fishing experience there? I'm looking for all the information I can gather. Fishing spots, lures to use, and fish to target. I'm really in the blind here, and I've got Dad hounding me to find us somewhere to fish.

Any help is much appreciated.

I'm well aware of the location of Daytona Beach LOL. I just thought maybe some guys here might have spent some time in Daytona.

I did forget about the Pier and Surf forums though, thanks for pointing it out. I'll ask over there too.

Go down to the keys and fish the old Seven Mile Bridge if you don't have a boat. If you have a boat, or can still rent one, the world belongs to you (if you can figure out the tide charts.) Get some marine charts and go crazy. I've caught tarpon off the No Name Key bridge, and the famous No Name Pub is easy walking distance from there---great pizza.
