Last year I read on SOL.com that Penn planned to release the Spinfisher V 6500 this fall in a bailess model. Sent Penn an email a few days ago and received the following response:

Thank you for choosing Penn! We are not aware of any release of any changes to the Spinfisher reel this year but we recommend that any time news like this happens it will be available first on the Penn website. We apologize for the inconvenience.

So, I sent them a cut/paste copy of the post from SOL.com and they (Anthony Cook, specifically) replied today thusly:

FWIW, a sealed spinner with a PUM for less than $200 (current model is +-$159). Should be around 20oz.
