Inshore spinning rod
Ok I am looking for suggestions and opinions on what Inshore Spinning rod would pair well with a 4000 series reel or for a 3000 series reel. I currently have a 3000 battle II and a 4000 Stradic Ci4+. Thanks any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I would suggest the 3000 Penn on an Ugly Stix GX2 in 9', can use in surf or pier and I have several with 5000's and the rods will handle big rays or 28# jacks and are priced right at BPS.

How much are you looking to spend? I love my Star Rods. I have a Star Sequence 7'7 on my 3000 Daiwa BG and it's probably one of my favorite set ups. They have Fuji-K guides, split grips, etc. J&M has a pretty good selection to gander at if/when you're in the area.
I believe they run at about $120 to $140ish..
