We will be down for a week in July, we will be renting a house on the beach in Gulf Shores. I plan to relax and do a little surf fishing in front of the rental.
Question: If I am fishing, in my beach chair and discreetly enjoying a cold adult beverage, will this be frowned upon? By discreet, I mean in a cup or hugger, well hidden, no flashing or no litter.
The alcohol ban on the beach ended April 17th. Glass containers of any kind are still prohibited. So, grab a rod, chair and cold one and just chill and fish.
Beach is fine, just no glass. Pier is no alcohol of any sortQuote:

Thanks for the info, guys. Glass on the beach is pretty much a no-brainer, but we all know there a lot of no brainers around.
You would be surprised how many people bring bottles down to the beach. The beach patrol is really good at spotting them also. They can spot a bottle at 200 yards. LOLQuote:
