I would recommend some Trilene Big Game in 15# test with a 30# shockleader for that reel.

Braid on bottom for added reel-capacity and mono on top-shot for increasing "shock cushioning" of a head-shaking or surging fighter.
Mono on bottom for cheaper filler and braid on top-shot for bite sensitivity (i.e., low stretch) and/or casting distance (thin diameter). A short leader at the end of braid for hiding the line, or bite-protection/abrasion resistance is ok too.
Yo-zuri Hybrid line is a co-polymer line with better-than-mono sensitivity but some stretch, plus cheaper than braid. Big Game Trilene is a go-to mono.

Let's gather some more confusion for the mix.....what about braid slipping on the spool if the braid backing is selected for extra capacity? Is it a problem - or just excuses from poor anglers?
Just for my sanity, I typically wind at least 15-20 yards of mono on the spool before spooling a couple hundred yards + of 20lb. Hi-vis braid.Good times, Good friends, Great Beer. You can buy all three - But it's always better to invest the time to make your own.

We use a wrap of doublesided tape around the arbor, then tie an arbor knot with two locking halfhitches and then wrap the tag end onto the tape.
As soon as you put the first rotation of line down it locks all this down.
I've NEVER had this setup slip!
