Thanks for the update pier#er, I listened to the podcast this week and they talked about tagging the tarpon and were interested to see where they would be heading. Glad to see they are making a comeback.

Hey all, these fish were tagged during the Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo. My dad was the Tom Eberly fishing the tournament, his name on here is Green Steel as #er said. Ben Raines contacted me looking for my dad, so that is how some pictures of me with tarpon wound up in the story. I worked during the rodeo this year, but I plan to be part of the tarpon team in 2019. I don't have much to add outside the article so far, but the research team is keeping us updated on the tarpon tracks so I'll pass along the info as it comes in. Marcus Drymon and his team are doing some interesting work for sure.
