Thread: Tough day at Fort Morgan

Got up early this AM and went to the last road on left this morning all excited after hearing a couple reports of fish caught ( red fish) there Sunday PM - grass was BAD - came back to house (3 1/2) mile marker and couldn’t fish here either - enuf to make a preacher cuss- but I didn’t- after taking some Bc powders for knee pain we ( th fam) decided to go to town and get back for a possible long afternoon back down close to th fort again - grass still there at 2 stayed to 4 ish - lots of bait - caught a couple lady fish that happened to hit gotcha in fist 10 feet- all th while keeping eye on rods that were spiked - waste of time - loaded up after much sweat and nearly tears and came back to house - no grass no fish either - finally managed 1 pompano- oh well tomorrow hadn’t been touched yet as my dad likes to say
