Triggerfish
what time of year do triggerfish usually arrive? or do the arrive at all?

They are year-round reef residents, usually in deeper water though I have caught a couple of little ones off the pier. Wonderful eating.

Yep, year 'round residents on the reefs offshore. They are in season now but the limit has been dropped to 2 per day.
