thanks by far whenever i got a chance to go saltwater fishing i go to the pier only so $6 it is even cheaper than my freshwater license!

Knowing that Barney Fife is spying on your catch sure takes the pleasure out of your day. I understand there are rules but if you have so much time on your hands maybe you could be out picking up litter or something.

Some of the rules my seem petty but without enforcement things get out of hand.

As for picking up trash, watch a lot of regulars who care about the pier and the environment, they pick up other people's trash as they go along the pier.

If that's your outlook on pier rules and game laws, I think you'd be far happier somewhere else, like Mexico. The other day, I made it a point to express my appreciation to the ranger who was checking licenses, etc. on the pier. I'd like to see him there full time. Originally Posted by witler
