33 years ago today, angler Wayne Desselle set the All-Tackle record for sheepshead (Archosargus probatocephalus) with this 9.63 kg (21 lb 4 oz) beauty he caught using river shrimp. The fish was caught from St. John’s Bayou – near New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.(RETIRED) mostly.
