Thread: Well Have some bad news

Well looks like we have some bad news. The other family thatcomes to Bama with us is backing out of the may 2015 trip. That means we willhave to cancel. I guess its May 2016 before we make it back to beautiful Bama.

Been pretty bumbed. But on the up side there may be a mexico trip in the near future. Just need to figure out what I need to fish on the beach

We would begoing to maroma beach just north of Play Del Carmen on the gulf side.
We where there 3 years ago. we walked about 1/4 south of the resort. There where a ton of fish in the shallow. whole time i wished I had a pole.

I know the area south of Playa Del Carmen very well. The fishing is GREAT there!! Water falls off to 1000' within, like, a half mile if I remember correctly. Lots of sails. I can turn you on to a beach very few except locals and knowledgeable tourists know about. Heaven on earth and lots of French and Italian type ladies with liberal dress morals. Rowr. Nice little grass shack bar with good local eats. Puerto Aventuras is a good place to go to get away from the PDC 5th Avenue tourists. Also have a nice dive shop if you get wet.
Lots of English speakers in the area.

BEWARE OF TAXI DRIVERS THAT OFFER TO TAKE YOU TO "CHILLY WILLY'S!!!" Google it. ;-))
