What is the best tasting fish caught from the pier

Someday, its pretty nice out here but the fishing sure ain't the same. Was hoping to make a visit sooner, but thinking September. That's probably my favorite time of year out there and its a lot less crowded.

I don't have a lot of experience sampling saltwater fish, but agree with Rich1 and the walleye! Probably the best tasting fish hands down!
