Headed down this coming weekend for a month or so . What catch is going to be hot at the GSP pier ? Also with it being Spring Break is there any reason to try to surf fish . Need all the help and advice I can get . Hope to meet some of you during my stay . THANKS ,

You are coming down during the prime time,every targeted species will have its run during your stay.Bring everything from 6lb ultralight to a large spinning reel loaded with a couple hundred yards of 25lb mono.
I would think surf fishing wouldn't be out of the question as long as you don't try to show up at one of the main beaches at 1 PM :wall: If you get there early and walk a bit from the parking lot at the pier, or in the park I think you can find a spot where your less likely to catch a 12 yo :D Good Luck!
THANKS GUYS for the info . I'm really excited Now !!!!!!!!!! I'm bringing my entire arsenal! Hope there will be room for mine wife .Maybe I'll meet some of you while I'm there .
