Hope they are wrong. Forecasts 5 days out are tricky business. heck, here in Dallas a forecast 12 hours out is tricky. Went to bed Saturday night with a 30% chance of rain Sunday afternoon. Woke up Sunday to a downpour with a 100% chance of rain all day, which ended up clearing out entirely by 2pm.
I remember our first year going to Gulf Shores they predicted storms 4 out of the 7 days. It really only stormed 2 days and it was off and on at that. Didn't impact the vacation too much. But I also wasn't trying to fish that year, so perhaps I would have been more impacted had that been the case.

I wouldn't count out the fishing. Last year I was there for a week in July. The water was very dirty and it rained nearly every day. I still managed to catch quite a few fish every day and I hardly know what I am doing.
At jemisons, I was told flounder, trout, drum, whiting are pretty steady in the summer. I was also told not to expect anything that likes clear water due to the proximity to the bay.
good luck!
