I want to learn how to fish for flounder but haven't had no luck on the bayway
When we move out of the August heat Fairhope pier is usually fairly good early in the morning or late in the day.
In the water..some days they are everywhere some days u could not catch em with dynamite.
Ok thanks cause I didn't think they was around the bayway this year
Caught 6 this evening on mobile river. They was a little deeper than normal about 15 ft. All keepers and all but one on a grub. That one hit a worm when I was fishing for them green trout.
I think I'm try again Saturday by the bridge by the battle ship thanks for the info
I'll be happy to show you a good spot, but you have to be willing to get wet and wade fish. We Texans prefer tying live fish to ourselves, and walking around with stingrays....seriously, I will be happy to tug the fish around, so do not worry about the sharks! Kind of slow now, but come Spring, you wlll be thanking me! It's my first post, so I have to say it, War Damn Eagle! Love ya Dad!
Which side of the bay do you live at? I know a decent East Shore spot too.
I go anywhere my beat up s-10 takes me
I stay in west mobile
Tejano whenever you ready to show me the spot ill be there
Cool, then you are close to location number one. Was out trying out my newest yak today. Sinned by not taking a rod. DI was blowing up heading towards the bridge from the park this afternoon. Tons of bait, and by the sound of the slurps, tons of trout. Don't ever get in a kayak w/o a rod! I will be happy to show you a couple of places I fish on the island, where flounder frequent!
When are you free from work, and does your wife mind when you just leave without explanation...lol?
I'm free in the morning on the week day weekend r shakey have I don't know if I'm have a girlfriend any more but you can let me know time and place ill give my number
I went on the bay way this morning but didn't have no luck and how safe is a kayak
Check out this link. 2013 Tide Table for Dauphin Island, Alabama for fishing <º(((><
The solunar table looks like it sucks....having said that, not sure what it said today, and fish were everywhere around me slamming bait. If nothing else, we can go down the island on Sunday, I will show a couple of spots. We might as well fish since we are going though! If we wade, bring some t-shoes that you do not care if you get wet, towels etc. New to the site, but will give you my number via the site. I throw plastics, and rarely, if ever use live bait.
Ok that's fine with me
What kinda rod n reel to bring and how many
