Where to fish?
Will be fishing the 10th-12th. I don't expect exact locations but any general ideas. Have fished from Ft Morgan pier to Perdido pass. Plan on some surf fishing and would love to catch a Pompano. Have caught some Reds in the pass on pinfish. Open to to any type and style of fishing. I'm from Nebraska and love saltwater fishing! Can't get my wife to move! Thanks for any general ideas or tips.

The timing of the incoming tide might be goo for a spanish/bluefish bite early Monday or Tuesday (11th or 12th).
If you want to focus on pompano try the beach east of the pass to the "shell" parking lot.
But the surf is going to be fairly calm so use Carolina or Fishfinder rigs. Ghost shrimp or live sandfleas would be best bait, followed by live shrimp (pieces) or whole small ones.
Use just enough weight to cast were you think they will be. The water should be clear and calm so stealth is highly important.
Also keep a spoon or Bubble rig at the ready on another rod in case any schools of spanish mackerel, bluefish or ladyfish pop up within casting distance.

Thanks so much. Lady fish are fun to catch.
