That would be perfect if the tines curved up more...with them angled out like that, they are less likely to get a good "stick" in a fish. And they would need sharpening to a fine pointQuote:

There was a strong demand at first.....but slowly dwendald, to not many.....became like work and a hassle to ship for me.....you only need so many gaff's on the pier, and usually someone has one when needed (Gulf shores) anyway......problem might be on others, unless they know you.....owning one there is usually a tourist around willig to help out.....might even make his or her day helping in landing a fish
My pleasure was figuring out the process for making them,and the pleasure the users had having them.....they do work well with most larger fish.
