Thread: Windy Week

Got down late Saturday andit has been windy with a rough surf since. Not much good for fishing, did manage to catch a couple of whiting in the surf.

It should begin to get better, now. I hope you're down long enough to get in some good fishing. The weather can be a witch and a spoiler of plans.

We only made of it out this morning so far for a couple of hours. My brother in law and I were mostly bottom fishing with shrimp and never made it out to the octi. We managed a spade, a catfish, and several of those small blue - striped fish that like to nibble your bait off. Tomorrow may be my last morning, so I think I'm going to get some cigar minnows and head out to the octi. Hope the bite is good!
